Life In Guatemala Can Be Hard. Vertical Farming Techniques Are Making It A Little Easier

Guatemala is constantly struggling against poverty numbers and chronic malnourishment. Isabella is a young mother of 4 who also had to unexpectedly begin taking care of her younger brothers and sisters as well when her mother passed away 2 years ago. It was already a struggle to feed the children she had. Both her and her husband had difficulty finding work and her side business of selling tortillas never managed to make more than $2 a day.
