Wow the guests at your next dinner party by showing up with these delicious onion flowers. This woman explains the entire process in this video. Here are the ingredients you’ll need: small red onions, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, and a greased baking dish.
Start by partially cutting the onions into 1/8th sections – making sure to leave them attached at the bottom. Then place the onions in a bowl and pour 3 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar on top. Gently toss the onions in the oil until they are well coated. Spread them on the greased baking dish and pour the remaining mixture of oil and vinegar on the onions. Bake them covered with aluminum foil at 425 degrees for 25-30 minutes then uncover them and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
